Billy Moloney

Bill Moloney began playing drums at a very young age. By 12, he was studying music formally, and by 15, he was performing professionally. At 18, he signed his first contract with Warner Bros. Records.

Throughout his career, Bill performed with a number of well-known bands across California. By 24, he had become a primary songwriter, leading to two additional record deals.

In 1979, he reunited with boyhood friends Paul Pilger and Dennis Polen to build a state-of-the-art recording studio, where they wrote, produced, and recorded original material. In the early 1980s, acclaimed vocalist TaTa Vega joined their creative circle.

Bill continues to write and create music today.

Yours Truly

This music felt like the most comfortable and most ‘me’ I’ve ever been. We spent days and hours woodshedding, just creating, exploring, and letting things happen naturally. There was so much music coming out of that time, so much laughter, and so many memories. It was a very special chapter for me.”

History of
The Band

Formed in 1967, The Human Touch brought together Paul Pilger, Dennis Polen, and Bill Moloney, three musicians whose creative partnership began in high school. The group signed with Warner Bros. Records and went on to perform throughout California, later securing an additional recording contract with MGM Records.

In 1979, they shifted their focus toward building a state-of-the-art recording studio, where they began writing, performing, and publishing original material.

Their work quickly expanded into placements with established artists, as well as composing theme songs and underscoring for television, including projects with Warner Bros., Paramount, and CBS, along with scoring numerous award-winning documentaries.

During this period, they collaborated with several notable vocalists, including Danny Hutton of Three Dog Night, renowned British rocker Terry Reid, and most significantly, legendary Motown recording artist Táta Vega.

Their partnership with Táta led to a long and fruitful creative relationship spanning many years and resulting in dozens of recordings, a collaboration that continues to this day.
