Michael B. Jordan is back on our screens, but this time, he’s trading places—not with a twin, but with an entirely different species. Netflix has released the first official trailer for Swapped, a vibrant new animated feature from Skydance Animation, marking Jordan’s first major film since his Oscar win.
In Swapped, Jordan voices Ollie, a small woodland creature caught in a long-standing rivalry with the majestic birds of the valley. Juno Temple voices Ivy, one of these birds. When a mysterious magical event causes Ollie and Ivy to switch bodies, natural enemies must team up to navigate a wild adventure filled with laughs, chaos, and unexpected lessons in empathy.
The trailer opens with a charming cameo: Jordan’s niece and nephew join him to introduce the film, giving fans a peek into his real-life family before the animated mayhem begins.

Production Team: Swapped is directed by Nathan Greno, co-director of Disney’s Tangled. The story was crafted by John Whittington, Adam Karp, Christian Magalhaes, Robert Snow, and Greno, with a screenplay by Whittington, Magalhaes, and Snow. Siddhartha Khosla composed the score, adding a musical layer to this adventurous tale.
Producers include John Lasseter, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Mary Ellen Bauder Andrews for Skydance Animation. This marks the second Skydance Animation project set to debut on Netflix in 2026, following the upcoming Ray Gunn.
